Tasting Notes
A bright and summery aroma was captured nosing this sample neat. We were reminded of enjoying greengage conserve on a croissant, plus a spoonful of lemon curd mousse and double cream as well as tropical fruit pastilles. The first sip was like taking a bite into a sharp green apple that was soon followed by the sweetness of rhubarb rock candy infused with cloves and nutmeg. After dilution we detected the scent of chocolate peppermint creams and woodruff-flavoured jelly, while to taste a classic baked cheesecake topped with strawberries and a dusting of icing sugar was served with a naturally sweet green tea.
