Tasting Notes
On the nose neat, this felt like spying the first snowdrops popping out above the snow indicating that spring should not be too far off. The aromas were as delicate, with lychees, iced gems and a frozen lemon sherbet. The taste followed suit; creamy, tangy sweet lemon flavours next to the first bite into a crisp green apple. Following the addition of water, the nose revealed Chardonnay aged in oak together with the aroma of ripe stone fruits, orange blossom, ginger and citrus zest. A silky, creamy texture on the palate, with flavours of lemon confit, mint, light tropical fruits and then back to the white flowers.
