An exemplary aroma from Campbeltowns most underrated distillery. Salty crackers smothered in ewes cheese and quince jelly. Bike chains slathered in WD-40 and grease, mango chutney and oily sheep wool spun into big fisherman jumpers. Hints of sour Geuze beers, waxy crayons, grapefruit pith and bandages with light antiseptic. Reduction brings salted caramel banoffee pie physalis, honey-covered granola and freshly pressed flowers. The mouth is full of funk fruits, brown bread, malted milk, savoury spices and joyously kooky esters. Water brings petrol, wild herbs, aniseed, sour fruit ales, banana chips, pooling fruit salad juices and tertiary notes of chalk, lime, coconut and iodine.
