Tasting Notes
A rather robust aroma of tiger balm and water chestnut at first. Then eucalyptus, lemon and grapefruit peels, pollens and wee hints of star anise and heather flowers. The juniper is quite tame at first. With water we found lemon and honey lozenges, aromatic cupboard spices, cloves, cinnamon, white pepper and then crushed greenery like nettles and peppery watercress. The neat palate brought juniper right to the fore. But also, coriander seed warmth, tarragon, aniseed, fennel, rose petals and citronella. Some forest flowers and Turkish delight. Reduction brought more rosewater, lemon balm, delicate medical touches, myrtle, tea tree oil and aged orange peels.
