Tasting Notes
Bright and inviting, the nose burst with avocado, apricot juice and candied lemon peel, followed by barley sugars and lemon ricotta topped with toasted currants. The palate, meanwhile, balanced sweetness with spice as chilli icing sugar mingled with pineapple cubes, vanilla cheesecake and cinnamon ice cream, finishing with musky tobacco warmth and tart lemon pith. Water transformed the profile into a floral bouquet of lavender, rosewater and beeswax, with hints of white chocolate and fennel seeds rolled in chalk dust. The palate evolved into nutmeg sponge cake, pistachio rosewater and lemons in nettle tea, suggesting the perfect pre-mix for a herbal hot toddy.
