The Panel agreed: a sublime nose. A superb collision of cough medicines and freshly muddled garden herbs. We found all manner of things like wintergreen, fennel, mango salsa, papaya, apricot, green banana, tinned pineapple and the leftovers of a big, mushy fruit salad. A fruit bomb in the truest sense. Water added mint, gomme syrup, orange oils, vapour rubs, copper kettles, steel wool, pine resin and engine oils. The mouth was immediate and superbly fruity with a jelly-like texture. Grenadine, pink grapefruit, pear cordial, lime pith, cough mixtures and herbal toothpaste. Water added gooseberry, aniseed, sauvignon blanc, nettles, lemon and honey lozenges and overripe yellow fruits. A smorgasbord of fruit accents throughout. Wonderful!
