Tasting Notes

For the creation of this fruity number the Whisky Team searched the warehouse high and low to find whiskies with inherently fruity spirit character and then blended them in a delicious manner. That’s it! It's a fresh fruity corker of a dram. The stunningly fruity nose opened on opulent notes of pear drops, pineapple cubes, a crisp sauvignon blanc and vanilla crème pâtissière, alongside apple blossom, peach rings and apricot jelly, elevated by a touch of nutmeg and white pepper. On the palate, the rich creamy texture bore with it a cornucopia of peaches, pears, red apples and limes, plus a side of peach yogurt, ripe banana porridge, coriander seeds and dried apricots. A fruit basket in disguise! This dram takes water very well, losing nothing of its fruity aromas. If anything, it turns more complex – delivering greengages, gooseberry fool, key lime pie, coconut délice, tinned peaches, raspberry and chocolate panna cotta, and all served with a glass of mellow white wine carrying a hint of oak and walnut. The taste also hit the spot, bringing with it a silkier pepperiness and some cocoa powder on digestives, washed down with strawberries and champagne, a gin-based fruit cup, and kiwi and white sangria.
