Tasting Notes
Squeezing the handle and turning the gear of a can opener delivered a rush of sweet, fruit-forward perfume: tinned peaches, rosewater, pineapple and banana pie, and lemon verbena dusted with sandalwood shavings. The palate was thick and oily, delivering tropical clotted cream, exotic gelato, a splash of white vermouth and strawberry bonbons bobbing in chai tea. Water added grape and gooseberries, almond crumble topping and quince in yoghurt, with a jammy oat scone to finish.
