Tasting Notes
An inviting and rather 'grown up' aroma at first, full of clove spiced honey, peanut brittle, boiled butterscotch sweets and things like menthol tobacco, apricot flapjack and crushed nettles. Lots of intriguing things going on. With water we got soft brown sugar, hay lofts, cut grass and aniseed. Also hints of cough mixtures and herbal bouquet garni. The neat palate opened with dried coconut, wasabi and cornflakes with icing sugar. Some freshness from spearmint and pineapple was also evident. Water brought thicker tones of chamois leather, camphor and sandalwood. Some spiced custard and dried flowers in the finish.
