Tasting Notes
We found ourselves standing in an apple orchard on a warm, sunny, autumn afternoon while, in the adjacent field, the hay was being harvested. We picked a golden delicious apple and took a first bite, enjoying that typical combination of appetising, juicy sweet and sour flavours. After reduction we cleaned the leaves of a rubber plant with an old recipe of water and beer mixed together 2:1 – try it, you will be surprised how shiny they turn out! On the palate we found lemon jaffa cakes, earl grey tea, sugar-coated almonds and, in the finish, strawberry shortcake.
