Tasting Notes
We initially found grassy notes as well as melon, kiwi, bananas, lime and fresh peppermint on pistachio cannoli. On the palate, we enjoyed a bowl of cream of green vegetable soup with kale, spinach, brussels sprouts and broccoli – all members of the brassica family, otherwise known by their informal name cruciferous. Following the addition of water, we walked through the reeds and rushes along the riverbank on a crisp spring morning before we stopped for elevenses of buttered toast with chilli jam and icing sugar, finishing with a shot of pear schnapps.
