Tasting Notes
The Panellists contemplated lilies in a cool spring garden, savoury-sweet and calming. The palate, however, was clearly peanuts soaked in sugar syrup, until a wave of horseradish spice pounced forward only to be swiftly subdued by tinned peaches and freshly cut grass. Water pulled out more oak on the nose, along with nettle beer, lemongrass and white wine spritzers. To finish, the palate became focused on vanilla and nutmeg-infused honey, the spice having now been tamed, with the prevailing finish offering cola and eucalyptus.
