Tasting Notes
We felt there was a bit of West Indian flair in the air with Jamaican funky esters and plenty of spice - Chris Gayle playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL (Indian Premier League) scoring a fiery, fruity ton in 30 balls. At the break there was plenty of water but also triphala tea and a traditional pancake from the region of Goa called Alle Belle - a soft crepe-like outer layer filled with coconut and jaggery. There were also more familiar bits such as Jaffa cakes, satsumas, raspberry jam sponge cake and chocolate limes. Was that first ball bowled after tea a googly?
