Tasting Notes
From the start the Panel was divided nosing neat. One camp found it quite shy, like ironing a still damp starched shirt or the scent of white roses, while others got prickly white pepper, cloves and all spice. That did not change on the palate with some of us sipping a banana with lime and cardamom smoothie, as others bit into a jalapeno pepper. With water however we came together with sweet aromas of marzipan, golden syrup and vanilla next to liquorice. Mouth-coating, very juicy with the spices now dancing in the background combined with a pleasingly dry finish of fresh peppermint.
