Tasting Notes

The nose was immediately creamy and sweet, with vanilla and loads of fruit (peaches, raspberries and plums) – basically a knickerbocker glory (with the emphasis on ‘glory’). Tasting it, we were transported to a holiday hotel in the sun – sipping cocktails and bellinis by the pool, surrounded by bougainvilleas; followed eventually by sherbet lemon, stewed apple and plum tongue tingles. The reduced nose discovered cherry-flavoured sweets, Turkish delight, Eton mess and ‘flower arranging after decorating a new home’. On the palate, we now found a banana and coconut smoothie, raspberry ripple ice cream and sherbet straw tartness, before a sweet, nutty, nougat finish.
