“Wow, it is just like having a 'sex on Malibu Beach'” – a cocktail of vodka, peach schnapps, coconut rum, orange and cranberry juice, all garnished with a cherry. And the exotic time did not end on the palate, so how about a grilled pineapple salsa with chilli and coriander? Following reduction, we were closer to home with thrift flowers in a meadow by the sea as well as freshly chopped basil and thyme. To taste, it was like a breath of fresh sea air combined with a watercress salad, crisp vegetables, creamy avocado and a citrus vinaigrette – vitamin sea to a T!
