Join us for a flavour of whisky poetry as we celebrate Burns Night.
For one evening only, we’ll be taking over the 600-year-old Crypt beneath the ancient church of St Etheldreda’s for an elegant evening celebrating Scotland’s national poet.
In addition to its place in London history, the Crypt is also where the first Society’s whisky tastings were hosted prior to the opening of the Society’s London Members’ Room.

The Burns Night festivities begin with bagpipes before settling in for an evening of Scottish traditions over a three-course meal.
What’s Burns night without exceptional whisky? This Burns Night celebration features six hand-picked Society whiskies chosen to elevate every flavour of your three-course meal.
Throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy the blues stylings of Tim Hain and Alan Glenive featuring whisky-themed songs – a modern soundtrack to raise a glass in honour of the Bard himself.
Please make sure to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Please note, this event will be held externally at The Crypt of St Etheldreda's 14 Ely Pl, London EC1N 6RY. The entrance is from Ely place and not via the Society Members' Room in Greville Street.
