Tasting Notes
The neat nose brimmed with a juicy, exotic waxiness. Old school and immediately seductive with bags of overripe green and garden fruits on display. We also noted exotic fruit teas, wood resins, dried mango and lemon verbena. Gorgeous! With water it opened to reveal lemon cough drops, hessian, coal dust, metal polish, camphor, chalk and dried wild flowers. A truly aromatic highland style dram. The palate was straight away full of resinous exotic fruits, hardwood polish, thick waxiness, mineral oils, sooty notes and camphor. Water revealed pollens, dried herbs, citronella wax and plump, overripe exotic fruits. All delivered on an outstandingly oily and fatty texture.
