Tasting Notes

Exquisite, elegant and graceful were the first comments after a long period of silence. We detected soft-spoken aromas of sweet tobacco, leather bound books, iced lemon tea as well as wheat fields on a late-summer’s day. On the palate imagine juicy, fresh figs chopped into goat cheese arugula salad with delicate balsamic vinaigrette – figalicious! A tear drop of water and we sipped Greek Mastiha liqueur that transported us to a Mediterranean hillside with the aroma of crushed juniper, freshly cut mint leaves, rain-soaked cedar wood and violet essential oil, while the taste was fragrant with a delicate earthy note and a magical aromatic sweetness.
