Celebrations are in order after The Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s triumph at this year’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). The impressive win of three double gold, one gold and six silver medals took the Society’s haul of awards above 300 since 2018, topping out at 307 across all competitions.
“Our latest SFWSC awards and the fact that we’ve now won more than 300 awards since 2018 highlights the SMWS’s continuous mission to offer our members outstanding whisky, across a variety of flavour profiles and from multiple different cask types. Nothing screams quality louder than global recognition, and we’re very proud to be able to show from these international awards that our whisky is consistently judged to be up there with the very best of the best,” said Kai Ivalo, the Society’s Whisky Director.
