Tasting Notes
Initially we noted sweetened porridge, deep, syrupy orchard fruitiness, honey on Madeira cake and passion fruit mousse. Beyond that we also noted lime cordial, barley sugars and wee hints of orange juice. With water we got various shades of citrus marmalades, banana rum cocktails, limoncello in tonic water and new leather. The neat palate was similarly sweet and full of juicy fruits, plus some firmer wood spice tones, melon cordial, hibiscus tea and lime cheesecake. Reduction brought a slight fruit pastille fizz, condensed milk, candied oatmeal and vanilla cream.
