Tasting Notes
A tanker full of marmalade was ablaze on a freshly laid tarmac road. The nose was big on salted caramel too. To taste, thyme and peanuts were joined by charred blackcurrants, rapeseed oil and a touch of chilli flakes. Offering water added cold-smoked sugar snap peas to the nose, along with charcoal and German hunting schnapps, before the palate focused on clove, charred cinnamon sticks, ginger wine and smoked pumpkin.
