Tasting Notes
The initial nose suggested pineapple chunks rolled in popping candy. Then more delicate things like pressed flowers, gorse bush, muddled parsley and white pepper. A punchy but nicely detailed profile. With water we found caramelised oatmeal, natural yoghurt, heather flowers, old school bitter ales and liquorice. The neat palate was rather herbal initially, showing notes of thyme, sage and dried verbena. Beyond that we found pine sap and dried apricot too. Water brought sandalwood, pine cones, shoe leather and orange-flavoured waxiness.
