Tasting Notes

The initial nose suggested grape reduction with a hint of cheesecloth and sandalwood. Then furniture wax, chamois leather, sunflower oil and vanilla ice cream. Water brought out toasted marshmallows, jellied fruits, kumquat, guava, hessian and an unusual note of hot ceramic tiles. The mouth when neat was more overtly sweet and classical, but this pleasing fruitiness remained comfortably in place. Lime curds, lemon barley water and toasted coconut. Water brought a waxier and more oily profile once again. Freshly churned butter, clay, pumpernickel bread and barley wine.
