Tasting Notes
The nose was a sweet perfume of lilies in bloom, laid on a hay bale and topped with honeyed pear slices and crushed oats. We tasted lemon and black peppercorns upfront, then a dusting of icing sugar, plums and fig jelly, with a lingering pepper on the finish. Water gave the nose orange fondant, plus watermelon gummies and coconut milk. The palate remained peppery, but finished with a crisp mocktail vibe: bitter lemon soda and a slice of fresh lime, topped with a dusting of nutmeg, cloudberry syrup and lemon thyme.
