Tasting Notes
A natural nutty nose with aromas of peanut brittle, mixed nuts, roasted and salted Bombay mix as well as chocolate cereal nut clusters. On the palate neat an unexpected bruteness surprised us at first but that was soon followed by a seductive sweetness. We likened the experience to eating turmeric ginger ice cream, with plenty of salt, ground black pepper and lemon zest. Following reduction, the scent was that of witch hazel extract and lemongrass essential oil, while the taste was now a whole hazelnut surrounded by delicious layers of crispy wafer and a velvety filling of smooth milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnut pieces.
