Tasting Notes

An elegantly fruity Speyside single malt, matured in a selection of bourbon hogsheads and Tokaji seasoned STR barriques. Tokaji is the national wine of Hungary and is one of the oldest wines in the world. It is made from grapes left longer on the vine, which are affected by "noble rot" (Botrytis cinerea). Think indulgent dessert wine full of rich fruits with some more delicate blossom-like notes.
