Initially sour apples and lemon skin merged with fresh pineapple and hard pears while honeysuckle and hazelnut oil joined cask char and beeswax. Waxy textures continued on the palate but now with toffee apples, butterscotch and rum and raisin fudge. Warming spices then coated rhubarb, grapefruit and lively peach sherbet. With a little water came raspberry and strawberry sorbet on lemon meringue pie before nutty aromas and linseed oil joined banana skin and marzipan. Flavours now broadened to cola sweets and burnt toffee dusted with icing sugar alongside coconut oil, salted red liquorice and firm oak tannins coated with clove oil.
