Tasting Notes
We found “oodles of vanilla” on the nose neat, like in Madagascar beans, bonbons, extract, ice cream as well as cupcakes and vanilla bean buttercream. Then, childhood memories of sweet, fresh and lightly tangy orange and vanilla flavoured popsicles appeared. When you add to that a banana split and a Tutti Frutti ice cream we were transported straight into an American diner of the 1960s. Staying in the ‘Swinging Sixties’ how about a Flower Power Martini, mixing gin, vermouth, elderflower liqueur and crème de violette as we all opened a few packets of smarties, white chocolate buttons and fruit pastilles.
