Tasting Notes
We unwrapped an apple and cherry pie from cotton candy, finding it dusted with freeze-dried honey, bits of eucalyptus bubblegum and sugared almonds. The palate, very much like the nose on first sip, developed to incorporate fennel seeds, coconut custard and papaya muddled with gooseberries. Introducing water gave this dram a honeysuckle perfume, layered with pollen and peppermint. The finish was huckleberry taffy dipped in cherry pie filling, pine and preserved lemons.
