Tasting Notes
At first nosing we detected many fresh aromas such as wet linens, rope, swimming pools and jasmine flowers. This then became a little fatter, with lightly chalky and medicinal notes alongside a touch of tea tree oil. Reduction brought a nicely dry waxiness and a firm coastal impression, with beach pebbles and white coastal flowers. The palate showed this distillery's typical sharpness and slight funkiness. We found olive oil cut with lemon juice, the salinity of a margarita rim and a tang of grapefruit. With water we got some lovely notes of green apple with pips, freshly distilled fruit eau de vies, bike chain grease, and a hint of camphor and shoe polish.
