Lifted aromas of intense peppermint wafted over sweet caramel and geraniums beside the potting shed at the bottom of the garden. Ground ginger on the palate joined toasted coconut and custard cream biscuits while nut oils and wax gave a delightful mouthfeel. With water an abundance of fragrant flowers brought images of meadows with peppermint tea, limoncello and jam in a sponge cake. The palate was now thick with vanilla custard and rice pudding with a large dollop of strawberry jam. Waxy textures returned but now with creme caramel and buttery flan topped with ripe berry fruits.
