Tasting Notes
This delivered a very entertaining first impression, with plenty of different aromas. We got fresh green apples, salted butter on sourdough bread, digestive biscuits, mascarpone cheesecake and homemade muesli. On the palate neat, the oily, thick mouthfeel was like black tea with a dash of lemon and a shot of rum. Following dilution, it was as fresh as a salty sea breeze which was then met by pears poached in red wine, salted caramel and baked red apples sprinkled with brown sugar. To taste, we found a Swedish crispbread with smoked salmon, plus a smooth peppery note and a peppermint sweetness in the finish.
