Tasting Notes
Aromas commenced with a seedy scene of dry leather shrouded by incense smoke and pineapples. Earthy notes joined malty character as sweet tobacco and cocoa beans merged on a bed of marzipan and pencil shavings. The palette taunted the tongue like an old tea chest amongst Crème brûlée, white chocolate and cheesecake. A dousing of water brought a fruity sensation from apples, pears and fresh citrus marmalade. Then floral notes captured Turkish delight with mango ice cream as delicious spice combined cloves, rye bread and cinnamon buns that turned to ginger tea on a warming and woody finish.
