Tasting Notes

Our nose as our witness, we watched Picasso's apprentice wrapping emulsion-splattered linen sheets around candy apples, butterscotch toffee and cherry liqueur chocolates. The palate centred on a glazed strawberry tart, topped with dark chocolate shavings, lime zest and old-school bubblegum. Water moved our nose to a picnic scene by the lake, grazing on melon balls, pancetta, sliced blueberries and mango cake. The palate finished with vanilla cream, grapes and orange oil on chocolate ganache. After 14 years in a bourbon hogshead, we transferred this whisky to a first fill Spanish oak oloroso hogshead for the remainder of its maturation.
