Tasting Notes

We’ve very close to the raw ingredients with this one. Lovely aromas of lemon barley water, green malt, hay lofts, warm grist, crushed aspirin, pink marshmallows, cream soda, rice crackers and gingerbread. This malty elegance continues with the addition of water which brings out sweet wort, barley sugar, lemon jelly, sugar syrups, sweetened breakfast cereals, pink peppercorns and heather honey. The palate is drier. Full of crisp cereals, soft waxes, carbon paper, old ink wells, BBQ char, mint jelly, eucalyptus oils, fruit loops and maraschino cherry. Dilution brings marzipan, orange marmalade with coriander seeds, hessian, bitter fruit extracts, crushed hazelnuts and damp earthiness.
