Tasting Notes
Light notes of fino sherry and white wine blended with meaty beef jerky, apricots and lumps of turf beside an old tree stump. In the mouth, peanut butter on warm wholemeal toast merged with honey, violets and waxy textures before earthy notes of raw peat and gardening tools returned. Water dug up funky farmyard aromas of tractor grease, creosote and farmhouse cider with the oiliness of mackerel fillets and linseed. Plumes of smoke now billowed from burning roses and carnations, while plums, nectarines and orange peel suggested cocktail bitters served with chalk and ash.
