Tasting Notes
The initial aroma was that of crunchy nutty cornflakes, traditional Yorkshire parkin and dried papaya before sweeter floral honey notes as well as pineapple with lime and vanilla syrup appeared. On the palate dolmades – Greek stuffed vine leaves with an almond yoghurt dipping sauce seasoned with lemon juice. After the addition of water, on the nose Thai mango- coconut bubble tea, vanilla cream horns and lemongrass essential oil while to taste a Rhodomel, (mead made with acacia honey and rose hips). In the finish chamomile tea with a zing of ginger and hazelnuts as well as lime custard with lychees.
