Tasting Notes
Someone, somewhere, was poaching orange slices in milk with smoked rosemary, the aromas drifting past as we opened up the sauna to inhale tea tree, hot coal must and cedar. To the palate, the dram oozed bitter plum with sage, eucalyptus and apple mint, while introducing water presented the Panel with crusty bread dipped in olive oil, along with lemon candy and cinnamon rice pudding topped with five spice-dusted nuts. On the palate, we were now served apple pie, glazed strawberry tarts and orange sorbet served in a hand-carved cedar bowl.
