Tasting Notes
Youthful just like a floral perfume released for the spring season to capture the start of the lighter and brighter season after a long dark winter. Aromas of pink vanilla wafers, coconut mint truffles and apple cider blended with soda water were followed by flavours of peppermint candy, walnut whip Easter eggs (childhood memories) and zesty orange marzipan. When we added water more nostalgic recollection of Scottish sweets came to mind like foamy bananas, Edinburgh rock and Moffat toffee while on the palate sweet and creamy lemon meringue pie, Battenberg cake, coconut Hobnobs and in the finish a brown sugar layer cake with peach filling.
