Tasting Notes

This one displayed a lean and well-sinewed profile initially. Lots of canvass, chalk, putty, limestone, nettles, grass, engine oil, leather rags from a toolbox and over used steel wool. Also touches of pollen and sunflower oil. With water we felt it really opened up well. More playful, lighter, zestier and showing notes of pineapple and white grapes. Crushed ivy leaves, sun cream and malt extract. The neat palate was immediately firm and peppery, lots of warming spices, dry herbs, fresh linens, furniture polish, hessian cloth, bark and petrichor. Water brought a more cereal edge with stout ages, malt loaf, kiln air and barley water.
