Product Description
Two to One is the combination of two casks of single malt from the same distillery that are married before bottling. Each Two to One bottling demonstrates the Whisky Team’s skills in experimentation, flavour creation and innovation, with the whisky in each bottle coming from a different maturation journey through a range of cask types to create something unique and delicious. These cask strength offerings are bottled in our traditional green bottles and follow the usual Society bottle code format.

Tasting Notes
On a psychedelic stroll through a forest, a bakery suddenly manifested to present us with pumpernickel bread, runny strawberry jam and heather blossom. The palate was thick and weighty, the tannins grasping our taste buds to deliver a soft drink mixing grapes, raspberries, blackcurrants and black carrots with herbs and spices, along with some lingonberry sauce. Water had the nose becoming oh so jammy, while the palate was more mulling spices and orange. The starting point for this small batch was two ex-bourbon hogsheads of single malt Scotch whisky. One cask was transferred at eight years old to a first fill PX barrique and the other at the same age to a first fill port barrique. The casks were then married together before bottling.
