We found this one to be typically elegant, initially revealing soft, herbal-accented, wispy peat smoke. Beyond that we got many seashore aromas such as crushed sea shells and dried beach wood. Hints of lanolin, grapefruit and heather flowers. Superb elegant and aromatic. Water brought herbal cocktail bitters, samphire, mineral salts and dried seaweed bobbing in ramen broth. Rich, briny, umami and satisfying. The mouth on arrival was classically fruity, fresh, sharply coastal and mineral. Lots of soft exotic fruits, mango puree, guava, papaya and passion fruit sour beer. With water we found coal dust, mango lassi, shellfish grilling over coals and more assertive medicinal notes of crushed aspirin, bandages and eucalyptus.
