We imagined sitting on a newly varnished wooden bench in a blooming rose garden overlooking a lake and smoking our own rolled peaches and mango flavoured tobacco cigarettes. A great texture with the sizzling smoky sweetness of peated ‘love hearts’ confectionary – if they don’t exist, they should be invented! In the long finish a surprising kick of a Caribbean hot sauce. Water released even further that wonderful floral smoke now entwined with marram grass and fennel pollen, or as they are called in Tuscany “spice of the angels”. Cool and mentholic on the palate with a fruity flavour of now, newly invented, smoky wine gums too.
