Oh yes, a great pick me up, as we made a spiked Spanish coffee, dampening the rim of the glass with lemon wedges before dipping into sugar. Then we poured warm Cointreau into the glass and ignited it before we added brandy, coffee and Tia Maria, before topping with a dollop of whipped cream. If this was not enough, with water we had a spiced porter adding ground nutmeg, cloves, coriander seeds and cinnamon sticks and for that final kick some cranberry flavouring. In 2018 we combined selected oloroso butts before returning the single malt to a variety of different casks to develop further. This is one of those casks.
