An elegant an aromatic nose of sunflower oil, shoe polish, new furniture, lightly oily rags from a tool box, steel wool, canvass and earthy turmeric. Dry and crisp, like a well-aged Loire Chenin. With water we found green twigs, earthy potting sheds full of smashed clay pots, plain cereals and limestone. The palate opened with a herbal and lightly medical profile. Lots of warming earthy tones, peppery heat and some sharper wood spices. Water soothed things out by bringing forth white flowers, lemon peel, softer medicines, spearmint, young agricole rum and hints of daffodil and marjoram.
