Tasting Notes
Rummaging through a linen bag full of sticky hot cross buns, we also found orange zest, huckleberry taffy and peanuts. The palate was a fruit cocktail of banana, pear and tangerines, joined by a warming mace, a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a topping of cotton candy. Water introduced glacé cherries to the nose and, hidden until now, vanilla. On the palate was a spice cupboard of anise and pink peppercorns, encroaching on a snack of sugared almonds and peach iced tea.
