Tasting Notes

An almost bashful aroma on the neat nose, reluctant to draw attention to itself. However, we picked out a delicate chocolatey whiff like walking past a hot chocolate with marshmallows and a mango-mint salsa. We were all eager to give it a try and we were not disappointed! Roasted plums, pears poached in red wine and now a spiced chai latte. Water released a sweet nutty stone fruit tartlet and a delicious bowl full of summer fruits with yoghurt, honey and nutty granola. Following nine years in an ex-bourbon hogshead, we transferred this whisky into a 1st fill American oak PX hogshead.
