Tasting Notes
An amazing amber colour was noted before we nosed the dram. A heady, perfumed aroma of blackberry, plum, cherry and redcurrant next to fudge dougnuts and a caramel sauce set the scene for a fascinating experience. A thick and oily mouthfeel met intense flavours of spiced burnt orange syrup used for an old fashioned cocktail – you should savour every sip. Water added golden raisins, fruit and nut chocolate bars, shea butter and exotic woody, slightly musky, aromas. On the palate, a blueberry bourbon mojito with homemade falernum using blanched almonds, fresh ginger, cloves, allspice, anise, zest of lime, sugar and rum.
