Tasting Notes
A bouquet of bacon in a well-fired Scottish morning roll was embraced by seaweed butter, a dusting of sandalwood and a dollop of strawberry jam. The palate gave delicious contrast, delivering Caribbean rum punch, nutmeg shavings, grapefruit and lemon peels, madeira cake and cinnamon. Water had the nose following the palate now; warm custard stirred with cinnamon sticks and splashed with cloudy lemonade came garnished with candied peel and spoons of key lime pie. The finish was cream soda, sweet mint tea and spiced orange wine.
